I left my keys in Jamey's truck!!!!! He left for work before I got up, and he's gone to Forks again (an hour away). I sent him a text asking him to try to come home tonight because he's got my keys. I have key to the house and my truck, but no gym key, office key, or PO box key. I grabbed my house and truck key and headed out the door to go to the gym, when I remembered I didn't have a gym key. I'm glad I thought of it then and not as I was pulling into the gym parking lot!
So no weights today, and not enough room here to use the TRX. I pulled out an old yoga DVD, "American Power Yoga" with Kurt Johnson. The last time I tried this one...maybe 3 years ago?...I didn't have the strength to get through it. It's 60 minutes long, which I have come to realize is the best length for me. Using the 30 minute ones, I just start to feel warmed up when they end. Now, I can do the whole thing, but it's still challenging.
Kurt is AMAZING. He's a 5th degree black belt in one of the martial arts (forgot which), and when he says, "Walk or float your feet back to plank position", he floats. He pulls his feet up, kinda like crow, and sloooooooooowly extends them in the air and all the way back into plank. It's amazing. And he kinda looks like Mel Gibson too. :) I'm going to look to see if he has any more recent releases. This one is from 2003.
