So I went and tried RIPPED today. It totally confirmed that group exercise is not for me. I mean, I knew that anyway. When I joined my gym 3 1/2 years ago, they didn't have any classes. Classes were just added in 2011. Classes weren't important to me.
It's a good class for people who won't, for whatever reason, do any weight training on their own. Or haven't, and don't know where to start. For me, it was a flashback to 1990 and The Firm. Which was great for me, in its day. That's when I was new and didn't know what to do. So I'm not knocking the class at all, it's just that I'm not its target audience.
I look forward to going in tomorrow for some heavy lifting. RAWR.
