This blog has been in existence since 2008 and has seen me through a lot of life changes. Mostly it served as a training log, of little interest to anyone but me and my friends who were following similar training programs. I'm taking a different route with it now.
I am in the process of becoming a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Fitness Nutrition Specialist. Fitness, performance, and general wellness (FPW) are things I am passionate about. Nutrition is of utmost importance in pursuing FPW. The older I become, the more I pay attention to the way I fuel my body and the more I learn through experience how vital good nutrition is. That's not to say I don't enjoy a good cheeseburger or pizza, but those are not staples in my diet. Those are treats.
Here I will still include some of my training, though probably not bore you with specifics. This will be an evolving project, and hopefully end up with some interesting reading. For you and me. Heh.
